DESCRIPTION, DETAILS & DIMENSIONS:

One of the most beautiful bookstores designed by Ettore Sottsass in the 80s.
Very rare, it was made by the Meccani Arredamenti Company, Cascina (Pisa) in 1992 and 1993.
It is an iconic piece of Italian Design of the 900, entirely in wood, with a wenge base and a central vertical element in ash briar; series of volumes and square furniture lacquered in shades of red, light blue, black, yellow and pink. Columns in cherrywood and wenge-dyed oak. Blue glass element.
The bookcase is an asymmetrical piece of furniture designed by the Master inside a square of 220 x 220 cm; it can be placed in the center of the room, visible from all sides. Exceptional combination of colors and wood.

The bookcase was built in 1993, numbered and signed with fire brand and copper plate of the company.
Limited edition of 10; Liana poster signed by Ettore Sottsass and numbered.

This Work of Design is out of production and not be reproduced in the future

The bookcase is cataloged and authenticated by the Meccani Archive .
A collection of works , projects, documents from the 50s in Cascina (Pisa).
